I'm Jun,
nice to meet you.
As a UX designer with a background in pharmacy, I bring a unique perspective to my work. In my previous role as a pharmacist, I developed strong skills in communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving, which have proven invaluable in my current career as a UX designer.
I am particularly passionate about creating human-centered solutions for problems in the healthcare industry, and have received specialized training in UX design through Mission Ready's UX design accelerator.
In my previous projects, I have had the opportunity to design for a variety of platforms, including mobile apps and websites.
I am excited to continue learning and growing as a UX designer, and am committed to creating aesthetically pleasing and effective solutions that improve the lives of users. Whether I'm working on a healthcare-related project or something outside of the industry, I bring my expertise and enthusiasm to every project I take on.

How being a Pharmacist has made me a better UX designer.
Being an experienced and dedicated health professional I succesfully delivered patient centred care with empathy, providing research driven solutions as part of their healthcare and medicine management strategy. On a daily basis I conducted patient interviews to get a better understanding of their health concerns and I effectively communicated complex information as part of the patient consulation process. It was critical to my role to collaborate with different stakeholders of the pharmacy. My background has given me a foundation and qualities that make up the core of being a good UX designer.
My real world experience enhances my design process.
Design thinking is an essential tool for anyone looking to create innovative solutions and deliver real results. In my experience, I've seen firsthand how effective design thinking can be in a variety of contexts, from starting a successful subscription box ecommerce business to launching products and services like a pharmacy Covid-19 vaccination site. By prioritizing the customer experience and constantly iterating on our strategies, we were able to achieve tangible success for the business.
What I'm curious about
I am extremely passionate about the UX research process, and I am always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to improve user experience through prototyping and usability testing. I am a lifelong learner and am constantly reading UX/design/business-related books to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques. Right now, I am particularly excited about UI design, and I am actively participating in the Daily UI design challenge to hone my skills and push myself to create clean, aesthetically pleasing designs that are full of purpose and meaning. I approach each challenge with a clear and focused mindset, always striving for an efficient workflow that allows me to deliver the best possible results
What I do when i'm not working.
In my free time, I love nothing more than getting out and about to enjoy all that nature has to offer - whether it's swimming, surfing, or simply exploring the great outdoors. When I'm feeling a little more low-key, I enjoy trying out new recipes in the kitchen and spending quality time with loved ones.
And if I'm feeling particularly ambitious, I like to challenge myself by delving into new creative projects - like pottery. It's always exciting to try new things and see where they take me!
